Apple Does Something, Tech Journalists Have Orgasms

It all started at 6:39 am when Gizmodo made the mind blowing announcement. THE APPLE STORE IS DOWN!

This only happens when they add or change products so a rift shot through the internet and people started getting excited. What would it be? A Powerbook with actual power? Some kind of 'magic' trackpad? Everyone speculated but no one knew for sure.

Then it happened. It was all suddenly there. The site was up, the products were there. APPLE HAD DONE SOMETHING!

Gizmodo took up the flag and made separate posts for every product. The beefed up Mac Pros, the Magic Trackpad that about 6 people would have a real use for and the screen, the glorious giant screen! (That you can get cheaper ANYWHERE else)

Techcrunch did the same thing, milking those post hits (you know most tech journalists get paid by the hit right?) for all they were worth. Using big words like 'Viola' and 'Refresh.'

Arstechnica was a little more subdued. At first they dedicated only a single post to all the new products and that page had very few exclamation marks. A testament to their journalistic integrity but then they made it spread. Like a disease Apple news took over their front page.

Engadget, oh those silly boys at Endgadget. Not only did they make a new post for each product, they have 'hands on' for almost everything including a fricken Apple branded battery charger. Somehow they were able to turn a simple announcement such as "BIGGER SCREEN!!!1!" into a 500 word article.

So far the only tech news resource that hasn't dedicated a million blog posts to the Apple fiasco is Techi. Good on them.

The most impressive showing his morning though is Slashdot. The one and only major tech news resource without a single Apple related post.

Ότι είστε μεγάλοι καρκίνοι και δεν ξεχωρίζετε το άσπρο από το μαύρο δεν σας χαλάει και καθόλου.

ΦΥΣΙΚΑ και θα γίνει χαμός όταν κάτι κάνει η Apple γιατί ΠΟΛΥ απλά η μοναδική εταιρία που μετράει και πάντα μετρούσε στην πληροφορική είναι η Apple. Δυστυχώς την Commodore την κλείσανε οι καρκίνοι σαν και του λόγου σου και παραλίγο να κλείσετε και την Apple...

Αν νομίζεις πάντως ότι μπορείς να βρεις την ίδια 27αρα οθόνη της Apple εκεί έξω και μάλιστα πιο φθηνή έλα να σου πουλήσω κάτι οικόπεδα που έχω στον Ήλιο.

Αν θέλετε να μιλήσετε για φιάσκο γιατί δεν μιλάτε καθόλου για την πληροφορική που την έχετε κάνει καρκίνο σαν και σας δεκαετίες τώρα βάζοντας την Micro$oft μπροστά με το έτσι θέλω; Ή την Dell; Ή το Facebook; Ή αυτόν κι εκείνο τον καρκίνο;
